Here, you are welcome, you are safe, and you are valued.

I believe that each time we meet, something that was never before possible becomes possible. In each session, we embark on a relational journey where we tap into your body’s innate wisdom and capacity to heal. We slow down. We notice and tend to the parts of you that need attention, acceptance, and warmth. And in this nurturing space we build resilience and restore health, ease, and strength.

My therapy practice blends Somatic Experiencing skills with trauma-informed cognitive-behavioral practices, mindfulness, compassion, and a multicultural perspective to facilitate wholeness, integration, and freedom. I specialize in sexual trauma recovery, sexuality and intimacy, grief and loss, and complex trauma. I work with people in alternative lifestyles and relationship structures, and I welcome individuals from LGBTQ+, BDSM, and ethical non-monogamy communities.

I earned my MSW at University of Maryland in 2000, and I am licensed to practice in Maryland and Virginia. I have completed advanced trainings in Somatic Experiencing and I hold a national certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. When I’m not at Crossings, you’ll likely find me savoring every moment with my family and friends, my golden retriever, making music, or exploring the world.
