Lucia is a nationally certified massage therapist who specializes in helping people tap their inner wisdom and resources, using their body as a guide. She’s been studying the art and science of bodywork since graduating from PMTI in 1992.
In her curiosity about all the avenues of health and healing, she attended and graduated from the Gestalt Institute of Washington DC; has taken numerous trainings relating to the psychology of the body; and has, for years, been a student of Shamanism and Earth based wisdom. Nature and animals support and inform her.
Her advanced trainings in Biodynamic Cranialsacral Therapy and Somatic Experiencing support quieting one’s nervous system – encouraging relaxation of long held patterns thus allowing deep resilience and health to arise.
Lucia’s work includes Biodynamic Cranialsacral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, various forms of bodywork (Deep Tissue, Swedish, Connective Tissue), Stretching and Reiki. She enjoys supporting women through the child bearing years, as well as their partners. Her work is grounded and multi-dimensional – knowing true health and healing is attained through the integration of one’s body mind spirit.
