Wellness Event at Crossings
March 9, 12-2 pm

Ear Acupuncture

Acupuncture delivered in a group setting, using 5 points on the outer ear to promote relaxation,
improve mood, and support overall wellbeing. People often sit quietly and comfortably with the
points in for 20-45 minutes generating a shared experience and sense of social support.

Zero Balancing

Zero Balancing is a powerful body-mind therapy that uses skilled touch to address the
relationships between energy and structures within the body. The practitioner uses hand
pressure and gentle traction on the bones and joints to create fulcrums, or points of balance,
around which the body can relax and reorganize.

Touch for Restoration and Balance

Touch for Restoration and Balance is a deeply relaxing hands on therapy that uses gentle touch
over potent acupuncture areas to promote calm and balance. Hands are placed over the ankles,
knees, hips, wrists, shoulders, ears and skull with consistent pressure for a total time of 10-15
minutes.

Touch for Regulation

Touch for Regulation supports the whole person to access deeper life-giving resources. Touch is
gentle and remains in an area for a period of time. Typical hand placements would be at the
shoulder, hips, lower back, base of skull, and both ankles. The total time is about 12-15 minutes.

SEVA

SEVA is a Sanscrit word meaning “compassionate service”.  The SEVA stress release is a 16 point Insight Acupressure protocol formulated to help reduce pain and anxiety.  It is focused on balancing body, mind and emotions through gentle pressure, called interface, on acupoints along the 12 meridians also used in acupuncture. It takes about 20 minutes to receive and is deeply calming.

Carla Morgan – Join Carla for a slow, gentle Yin Chair Yoga and Sound Healing offering. We will focus on letting go of anything that is not serving you and setting positive intentions. Gentle chair poses and crystal singing bowls will be used to help you feel refreshed and rejuvenated. The healing vibrations from the bowls interact with our energetic and physical bodies causing us to unlock blocked emotions, relieve stress and anxiety, clear our mind, and guide us into a meditative state. Beginners welcome.
