Tai Chi: Beginner Part I
Beginner Part 1 classes introduce students to the 37 movements and postures that comprise what is referred to as the “T’ai Chi Form”. In this class, students learn the 1st section (Beginner set) of the form—the first 12 of the 37 movements. Each In-Person class meets once a week for one hour either on Sunday morning at Strathmore, or on Monday evening at Crossings in Silver Spring. The same content is taught in the Beginner Part 1 Zoom class that meets on Thursday evening*. Students registered for the Sunday, or Monday In-Person Beginner Part 1 classes can also attend Zoom classes on Thursday evening. All Zoom classes are recorded and a link to the recording is sent each week to both In-Person and Zoom students as an aid to practicing the movements between the classes..
